State of Play brings another Rise of the Ronin trailer

In today’s State of Play, we got more insight into what we can expect from Rise of the Ronin which is one of PlayStation’s next big games.

Traversal is extremely dynamic and in addition to running, you can also glide and ride your trusty hose. Of course, you aren’t there to enjoy the countryside, so a lot of time was given to illustrating the combat which features blades and even a flamethrower.

Taking place during the final years of the 19th century, the game depicts the Boshin War. you’ll be able to create your own character and engage in combat with various weapons. Though the premise is intriguing, RotR will have to work hard to not be just another Assassin’s Creed set in Japan.

The game launches on March 22 on PS5.
